Scottish Dirk Engraved SCHOTLAND NO UNION Dated 1703

Early Scottish dirk with notched brass insert to the blade which is engrave 1703 SCHOTLAND NO UNION Brass hilt with dot and line decoration leading to a flared pommel with wide tapering blade which is 15 inches in length and 1.75 inches in width at the hilt. The dirk is complete with matching ensuit knife but more like a dagger which is 10.5 inches in length. Both are contained in a black leather scabbard tooled with matching the decoration on the brass mounts and hilts. Overall length of the dirk 19.5 inches.
