Scottish 78th Regiment of Highlander The Ross Shire Buffs rare Pipers Dirk circa 1810 Bog oak brass studded hilt with matching brass pommel. The blade of standard form with notched spine and 26.5cm in length. Brass mounted leather scabbard with 78th to the top fitting the reverse stamped with number 6. The two lower middle fittings containing the chained knife and fork, note chains look to be replacements both mounted with stag heads, overall length 40cm
