Victorian 3rd Argyll Presentation Officers Sword in super condition, the hilt regulation but all bars and back strap are embellished with floral decoration as is the matching scabbard. The blade again in excellent condition engraved with regimental devices, owner initials and motto plus floral decoration and prevention as follows: PRESENTED TO CAPTAIN MAC CAIG BY THE 3RD ARGYLL VOLUNTEER ARTILLERY CORPS IN APPRECIATION OF HIS VALUABLE SERVICES AS AN OFFICER DURING THE PAST SIXTEEN YEARS OBAN 23RD MARCH 1876.
