Continental Officer’s Bell Top Artillery Shako with white metal front plate with crossed canon and surrounded by gilt floral decoration with matching crown and backed by a blue and silver rosette. Platted red cord supported by lion head hooks to each side and finished with matching tassels. The brass chin scales attached by lion head bosses and secured by central buckle, the body finished with leather top base strap securing the peak. It is complete with black leather sweat band and green and white silk liner, it stands 8 inches in height.
