King William The Fourth Presentation Mameluke

Presented by King William the Fourth to His Aid De Camp Col William Wemyss of Wemyss Castle 1831 The sword with mameluke gilt hilt with polished ebony grips the cross. Guard with crossed baton and sword to centre. The blade etched with William 4th cipher, crown crossed lancers and sword and baton to one side the reverse again with William 4th cipher, crown, sword and baton plus Royal presentation as detailed. It is complete with black leather scabbard with gilt embossed mounts.
