A Victorian Royal Artillery Officer’s Sword belonging to Major C JJ Harris R G A The Royal Garrison Artillery also listed as being in the Lancashire Volunteers, The Pembroke Militia Artillery and the Cumberland Artillery as Surgeon. He was also The Medical Officer at the Whitehaven Colliery and was awarded the Edward Medal after the 1910 disaster. During WW1 he was attached to the Border regiment. The case contains a regulation Royal Artillery sword by Wilkinson with both scabbards plus knot, full Dress belt and slings, full dress cross belt and pouch including cover, leather service belt, frog and spurs all in excellent condition. The case fully lined with red velvet and are very hard to find, it is sold with research.
