1796 Heavy Cavalry Officer’s Dress Sword by Gill
1796 Heavy Cavalry Officer’s Dress Sword gilt brass knucklebow and boat shaped shell guards. Ball pommel with tang button complete with fish skin grip secured with silver wire. The blade double edged with single narrow central fuller, spear point with the addition of a barb on the point. Engraved with foliage, stand of arms and GILLS the blade has been polished and the engraving is worn. Complete with steel scabbard with two loose rings.
