British Georgian Blue and Gilt Cavalry Officers Sword c 1790 Highly decorative pieced basket hilt with good scrollwork, fish skin grip bound with silver band rather the twisted wire. The blade straight single edged with blue and gilt decoration including G R, crown with Royal Coat of Arms and floral decoration overall length 98cm the blade 81cm.
