Original example, it has a brass hilt with a two bar guard with correct inspection marks and colonial anchor, the wood handle is leather bound with brass wire, it has a curved blade which is in excellent condition, the spine is engraved with the manufacturer and dated 1895, complete with steel scabbard with single loose rings inspection marks and numbered 161 matching the sword hilt.
