Royal Horse Guards Trooper Sword


Royal Horse Guards Trooper Sword iron hilt with shallow disc bowl with triangular piercing and a knucklebow which is similar in design to a 1796 heavy cavalry officer’s undress sword. Complete with two sweeping side bars and wooden ribbed grip note leather covering missing. The blade is the same as a 1796 heavy cavalry disc hilt as is the scabbard with two loose rings. This example has been cleaned but is in good solid condition and the blade and hilt are tight.
