The blade with excellent engraving with V R and crown to one side the reverse with with presentation. PRESENTED BY THE  BALLATER SQUAD 21ST ABERDEENSHIRE RIFLE VOLUNTEERS TO ENSIGN JOHN KNOWLES 1897 Complete with parade scabbard
