Household Cavalry 1892 NCO’s Sword by Mole with Etched Blade very rare to find there is a similar example is detailed in Richard Dellars book The British Cavalry Book 1788 – 1912 and descripts it as a sword possible carried by a senior NCO or even an officer on active service – page 193 plate 19.22 The sword has regulation hilt with fish skin grip the blade slightly curved and etched with G R crown to both sides with floral decoration plus inspection and issue stamps.
