Bullova Indian Fighting Axe of the Chota Nagpur

The Bullova is the traditional fighting axe of the Chota Nagpur aboriginal tribes of central India. 19th century, moustache-shaped head with thick socketwith decorative fittings surmounted by a sharp ridge , on its hardwood haft with an ornamental brass tip. Head 25cm, overall 89cms. Good condition and patina, hand forged.
