Belgian Albini-Braendlin 1867 pattern Service Rifle


Plain back action lock with military inspection mark J.H over 67 forward of hammer. Liege proofed 11mm rifled barrel with Albini patent hinged breech mechanism and ladder rear sights to 1400 mtrs. The sights also have the Halkin modification with the sights extended to the right hand side to allow indirect shooting (volley sights) connecting with the button on the central barrel band. The barrel is stamped on the knox form with serial no 1160 which is also on the locking pin, barrel bands etc and date 1867 with various proof and inspection stamps to left hand side, the hinged breech block is stamped ‘A.B.& D’ plus proof marks. Walnut stock with regulation steel furniture, 2 sling swivels, clearing rod and socket stud underside of the barrel, feint military roundels to both sides of the butt. Free UK Mainland Shipping only
