This is very similar to the British 1796 Light Cavalry Sword; it has a steel stirrup hilt, with an eared back-strap and a leather covered, ribbed wood grip, the 32.5 inch curved blade, it has matching regimental markings on the langet and top of the scabbard, metal work toned dark. Matching blade and scabbard numbers.
