Scottish Basket Hilted Backsword c1760

Highly decorative Scottish Basket Hilted sword c 1760 The dom pommel with four sets of grooved lines with engraved circles in between. The grip bound with fish skin and secured by brass twisted wire. Super basket with decorative bars with hart and oval designs. The straight blade single edged with small top fuller is pieced with three crosses separated by armours stamps the one nearest the hilt very worn.
