Italian Swept Rapier and Ensuite Dagger

Late 16th century early 17th Italian rapier and unsuite dagger. The rapier with 3 ring guard the smallest inset with pieced shell guard, long flowing quillons terminating in decorative bud design ends which is repeated on the rear hand guard. The 107cm double edged blade is pieced with rectangle and circle design and marked with amours mark a crown over R. The dagger with matching shell guard and quillons swept down ending in the same bud design. The blade again with pieced design similar to the sword but not identical and with traces of engraving, length 36cm. Matching pommels and wire bound spiral grips showing age wear but which may have been replaced during their history. Overall lengths, Rapier 130cm Dagger 50cm
