French Superior Officer’s Blue and Gilt Epee

Superior officer’s in of the Restoration period 1816 -1830 epee. High quality decorative gilt hilt and shell guard with matching straight cross guard and back strap. The blade is straight diamond section with super blue and gilt and maker marked  SH on the blade which is most likely Samuel Hoppe of Solingen complete with gilt mounted leather scabbard showing age wear to the leather. Length 102cm blade 85cm
