1814 pattern Household Cavalry officer’s sword, straight double fullered blade 88cm in length, heavy gilt brass half basket hilt with double shell guard, leather bound with wire grip, in its brass scabbard with 2 rings and 2 inset panels. Good condition with age colour a rare and honest sword overall length 100cm Note two age repairs to basket and small age crack please see images.
