Household Cavalry Trooper steel Disk Hilt Sword c1800 by Woolley know to have been in use between 1796 and 1821 Large shallow disk bowl with triangular shaped piercings and knucklebow the grip would have been leather bound remains but in good condition. The blade is a standard 1796 heavy cavalry one with Woolley stamped on the spine and is complete with steel scabbard which is a replacement sword has been cleaned blade length 33.5 inches overall 40 inches for reference please see The British Cavalry Sword 1788 – 1912 by Richard Dellar page 182 – 184
