English Hounslow Hanger c 1650

A very fine English Hounslow Hanger with curved single edged German blade. The iron hilt with has darkened nicely with age. The stag horn grip has nicely worn to fit the hand and decorative flat pommel cap. The curved blade is excellent with armourer’s stamp plus Passau Wolf make with gold inlay. – blade 55cm overall 70cm
