A charming collection of one officer’s items consisting of hi broadsword which retains it’s liner, fringe to the basket hilt and it’s black leather scabbard with steel mounts. 79th Highlanders dirk with etched blade heavy thistle ornamented gilt mounts to scabbard, bogwood grip terminating in heavy oakleaf decoration and foiled citrine with matching knife and fork. 79th large gilt sporran cantle bearing the battle honours Peninsula Egypt Waterloo Plaid or kilt pin in the form of a small basket hilted sword, his shoulder belt plate, plaide brooch, gilt glengarry style whistle boss, bronzed glengarry badge, white metal larger glengarry badge plus his Crimea Medal with clasp Sebastopol named to Captain Harry Murray 79th Highlanders.
