6th Dragoon Guards 1912 Officers Sword by Wilkinson 89cm blade etched with crowned GVR, Royal arms and scrolling foliage, by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London serial no. 44004 for 1913, regulation nickel plated hilt, stepped pommel with laurel wreath border, wire bound composition grip, contained in its field service scabbard. Fine condition. Carabineers sword to J. H. A. ANNESLEY . The sword of Lt. Colonel Annesley who won the DSO in South Africa and attained that rank with the 6th Dragoon Guards in May 1913.
