Transitional sword between GR 6th and EIIR possibly made for the Coronation 82.5cm blade by Wilkinson, serial no. 72417 for 1953, etched with thistles, scrolling foliage, crowned EIIR cypher, crowned regimental badge and full battle honours to France & Flanders plus Kings Crown , regulation plated steel gothic hilt incorporating the regimental badge, contained in its plated steel scabbard.
