Victorian Welsh Officer’s Mameluke

Victorian Welsh Officer’s Mameluke I am informed this is not a lord Lieutenants sword due to the absence of rosettes to the grip as detailed in the painter of Major General William Allan. The blade is etched with Etched to Hawkes & Co, 14 Piccadilly, London, this all dating the sword from 1853 to 1881 plus Prince of Wales feathers and floral designs and serial number 5935 to spine. The hilt in good condition with Prince of Wales feathers to cross guard on both side and complete with plated steel scabbard. Submission reference 9QS65SSL
