PRESENTED TO MAJOR BOURNE BY THE MEMBERS OF THE 21ST (BROMSGROVE) WORESTERSHIRE RIFLE VOLUNTEERS IN RECOGNATION OF HIS SERVICES AS CAPTAIN OF THE CORPS FROM IT’S FORMATION TO HIS PROMOTION 13TH AUGUST 1873 this is all with in floral decoration and maker marked R Mole Birmingham. It is complete with a silver plated fully engraved scabbard the whole sword is an excellent example which has not been clean but would polish if required.
