Victorian Household Cavalry Officers Sword with insignia removed from hilt. Regulation sword with decorative bowl guard and brass studs, fish skin grip with steel back strap and brass chequered pommel. The blade again regulation and in fine order marked Hawkes and Co London the spine numbered 1183 and the brass proof plug seems to be marked with a H please see images. Complete with correct scabbard with large brass mounts and drag, overall length 106cm the blade 92cm in untouched condition.
