Victorian 91st Regiment Broadsword by Wilkinson

Victorian 91st Regiment The Argyllshire Highlanders Broadsword by Wilkinson, early example number 12981 purchased by Captain S H Bruce May 1864. Regulation basket hilt with original liner and fish skin grip both showing age wear, the blade double edged with two central fullers and super early engraving. This consists of VR and crown to one side the reverse with crown, regimental badge and 91 plus Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London, spine numbered 12981 complete with steel scabbard with two loose rings. The sword is sold with a copy of the Wilkinson register and a small amount of history, Stewart Hervey Bruce served at the siege and fall of Sebastopol and the bombardment – capture of Kinbourn
