Spanish Cavalry Sword Model 1728

Cavalry sabre model of 1728. Handguard in form of two shells (Bilbo). Iron handguard and virolas. Handle of wood. Round iron pommel. Blade has punzon apparently a T beneath a crown (worn away), and series of letters which could be C.SIVTOLO. The blade has two sharpened edges and is of ‘tres mesas’. Size: Overall 98.5cm Blade 80.5cm
