Scottish Basket Hilted Sword Andrea Ferrara c1720

Excellent Scottish basket hilt sword c 1720 The hilt was original japanned finish slightly worn by age with gilt inlay decoration. Ray skin grip with a brass banding. the pommel with matching decoration to the hilt and complete with original liner. The blade is single edged becoming double towards the hilt, multi fullered and maker marked Andrea Ferrara surrounded by various further marks please see images Overall length 90cm blade 78cm
