Scottish Basket Hilt Broad Sword c 1740

Scottish Basket Hilt Broad Sword c 1740 in good solid condition no rattles. The basket constructed of round and flattened bars with panels pieced with dot and hearts. The domed pommel extended button tang with line decoration matching the basket complete with leather grip secured by twisted silver wire and Turks knots. The blade double edged with small central fuller which is engraved SOLINGEN both sides. Overall length 100cm the blade 85cm.
