British 1796 Blue and Gilt Cavalry Officers Sword

British 1796 Blue and Gilt Cavalry Officers Sword by Woolley and Co, steel regulation hilt with leather bound grip secured by silver twisted wire. The curved blade with engraved gilt decoration including GR crown. Royal coat of arms, trophies of arms plus floral designs and Woolley and Co. The blue and gilt is good and bright on one site the reverse however is faded. Complete with steel scabbard in good condition.
