Scottish 17th Century Basket Hilt Sword

Scottish 17th Century Basket Hilt Sword c 1650 – 1680 in untouched condition. Leather bound grip with remains or original fringe and leather liner good solid hilt of period design with conical pommel. The blade with three fullers and maker marks FARRA with SS above and S below, the reverse with ANDRIA  again with SS above and S below all surrounded with stars. Complete with original leather scabbard with replacement drag, for reference please see British Basket Hilted Swords by Mazansky page 80
