Russian 1827 Pattern Sidearm – 31

Brass grip marked on back edge with ? over ?3 and crossguard  marked ?  over ?  and  an A, date 1827 and lower quillon marked ?r.  Curved pommel drilled for a sword knot. Steel single broad fullered sawback blade marked on back edge of blade ?? plus marks either side of ricasso.  In its brass mounted leather covered wooden scabbard. Locket marked H over AK date 1827 and 47 in a panel. Chape marked ? over ?3 date 1827 plus ? star. Loa 677mm Blade 503mm
