Polish Lancers Czapka

French Polish Lancers Czapka 19th century large sun ray plate with crowned eagle with crossed lancers behind. Leather body with peak and large dark blue mortice top trimmed with gold lace complete with large cockade made up of silver and red lace with metal cross to centre. Lion mask bosses with felt backed chin chain, black silk liner with leather sweat band.
It is possible the cap has been refurbished as the blue cloth is in very good condition 10.5 inches in height and 13 inches in width
