German Dress 1852 style sidearm – 55

Brass Pommel, Grip and ‘S’ shaped crossguard.  Grip with diagonal lines on one side of the grip only, Quillons also decorated.   Steel single edged blade engraved with foliate scrolls, lance and flags above cannons, drums and shield.  Leaf engraving on back edge of blade.   In its brass mounted black leather scabbard, Locket marked with a 0 at mouth. Length 600mm  Blade 485mm.
