German 17th Century Riding Sword

German 17th Century Riding Sword similar to a rapier in design but smaller hilt and wide flat blade. Curved langets with two hoops forming the guard with large decorative pommel the grip wire binding is loose. Flat straight blade struck with swordsmith mark which is not identified but recorded as 17th century German. Overall length 94cm the blade 80cm and width is 3.5cm at the hilt
