Georgian Wakering Volunteer Cavalry Sword

Georgian 1796 W V C Cavalry Officer’s Sword.belonging to Capt. Jonas Asplin founded the Wakering Volunteer Cavalry ( W.V.C) Essex, in 1803 Steel hilt with leather grip bound by three silver wires. Curved flat blade no fullers with hatchet point and engraved each side with W V C in gold and Caps Asplin on the spine complete with steel scabbard again engraved with W V C
