French General Officer of Consulate Epee – Sword

General Officer of Consulate of 1st Empire period, possibly a Staff Officer’s Epee in very good original condition. Silver wrapped grip wire bound with decorative gilt hilt and cross guard. The single edged blue and gilt blade is in excellent condition and maker marked Johann & Clemens Boegel of Solingen and is complete with matching gilt mounted leather scabbard.
