English Naval Cutlass iron figure of eight hilt with iron cylindrical ribbed grip. The straight slab-sided blade stamped GR the reverse with inspection crown over 3 and maker marked Dawes on the spine. Overall length 85cm the blade 73cm for reference please see Swords for Sea Service plates 65/66/67
