English Mortuary Sword c1650, with double edged 35 inches blade and double fullers, both fuller signed on both sides near the hilt MEFECIT although faint plus Passsau wolf again to both sides. Typical iron basket, the front face engraved and chiselled with male faces and floral decoration, the basket formed from three bars and two side-bars, spirally fluted wood grip with twisted wire, the basket bars attached to the carved bulbous pommel by three screws.
