English Cavalry Officer’s Backsword c 1760

English Cavalry Officer’s Backsword c 1760 steel hilt decorated with writhen fluting with matching pommel and button tang. Original fish skin grip with age wear secured with twisted wire. The straight single edged blade full length at 37 inches with central fuller running to the tip and a small top one which is 15 inches in length. I very nice tight original sword overall length 43 inches
