Produced by Wilkinson Sword No 45441 levee pattern belonging to C S Jackson, regulation hilt with regimental badge to center and fish skin grip. The straight blade engrved with battle honors, GR5 and crown plus regimental badge, maker marked Henry Wilkinson and complete with parade scabbard, please note 2 dints towards the drag. Overall length – 98cm blade 83cm Notes: CAPTAIN C. S. JACKSON, Coldstream Guards, killed on October 9, aged 25, was the youngest son of the late Sir Thomas Jackson and of Lady Jackson, of Stansted House, Essex. He was educated at Harrow and Sandhurst, and joined the Coldstream Guards in February, 1912. He went to France with the First Expeditionary Force, and was in the retreat from Mons and the battles of Marne and Aisne, and was
severely wounded in the head in September, 1914.
