British Presentation Fire Helmet dated 1889

British Presentation Fire Helmet dated 1889 with brass body with 2 small cracks please see image and crest however the front and rear peaks are white metal. The front peak engraved with Presented to W Smith by the members of the Hove Volunteer Fire Brigade as a token of their esteem & regards Nov 18 1889. Chin chain with backing missing and the front badge has had the fittings replaced complete with leather liner.
