British Georgian Hussars Officer’s Mameluke

British Georgian Hussars or Lancers Officer’s Mameluke, the hilt with gilt brass mounts and studs securing the grip with original officer’s dress knot. The curved blade engraved with trophies of arms, G R and crown to both sides with gilt inlay. The spine of the blade maker marked JJ Runkell Solingen and in overall good condition with some surface staining. Complete with back leather scabbard with large raised gilt mounts the top one being engraved with Synmons 102 Pall Mall London but has age wear.
