British 1859 Pattern Cutlass Bayonet – B72

Steel bowl guard with sword knot slit, MRD 21mm, black leather knurled grips.
Mortise and spring pommel marked crown over 236/51 on one side and crown over S 2 on the other. Steel slightly curved blade marked on the ricasso with crowned head mark of ‘Weyersberg’ over S/14 and sold out of service mark. Back edge of blade marked crown over S/1. In it’s steel mounted black leather scabbard. Loa 805mm Blade 660mm ( reground tip)
