British 1822 Blue and Gilt Officer’s Sword

Excellent example of this sword and very rare to have a blue and gilt blade. Regulation hilt with VR and Crown to centre and numbered 4 – 1889 complete with fish skin grip and officer’s dress knot. The slightly curved blade is pipe backed and German made with blue and gilt decoration and makers mark. The folding side guard is in good working order and is complete with black leather scabbard with gilt mounts. – blade 81cm overall 95cm
