10th Hussars Officer’s Sword

10th Hussars Officer’s Sword 1821 pattern troopers bowl guard with chequered back strap and pommel complete with fish skin grip but the wire is missing. The guard is heavily engraved with Prince of wales feather and ICH DIEN. The blade flat back with single fuller and double edged for the last 7 inches. It is etched with Prince of Wales feathers and the initials R A D plus Royal Coat of Arms and GRV maker marked S J Pillin London. It is complete with leather service scabbard overall length 42 inched the bade 36 inches. Please note this is a very unusual sword and although I was assured it was 10th Hussars it could also well be 12th Lancer or 3rd Light Dragoons
