British Victorian 1821 Officers Sword with Family Blade

British Victorian 1821 Officers Sword fitted with early 18th century family blade. Regulation 1821 sword hilt with 3 bar guard and patent style tang due to the size and age of the blade. Fish skin grip secured by twisted brass wire and chequered pommel and back strap. The straight blade single edged with three small fuller the lower two running the full length of the blade and stamped with dots and lines. Complete with made to measure scabbard for this sword, overall length 40.5 inch the blade 32.5 inch
