Victorian 11th Hussars Officers Sword by Wilkinson number 27041 Light Cavalry, to W A Powell 11th Hussars. 18 December 1885. Regulation sword 35 inch single fullered blade, with makers details to one ricasso, the reverse proof slug. The blade with foliate etching and crowned VR cypher to one side of the blade, plus regimental badge of the XI Hussars to the other side, along with the Sphinx, and scrolled battle honours plus owners initials. Complete with matching scabbard and dress knot.
